Aap Ki Hasi - Shayari
There was a friend of mine I once met when I was in my graduation 2nd year. I always admired his laughter. Even a slightest smile was laughter in real. May be you could say the loud laugh was actually meant a simple smile. When ever I heard the laugh over the phone or in real, it remained me of my father’s laughter. My father’s smile.
So true so pure. Nothing to hide while laughing. Nothing to pretend of. One fine day I thought of telling him how amazing I find his laughter and so I wrote this sher. As this little shayari was the only way I could express my gratitude and affection for his laughter, for his smiles.

आप से एक बात कहनी थी
बुरा न मान जाना कही
गजब की है आप की हसी
इस कदर दिल खोल के हेस्ट
मैने किसे को देखा नही
या-खुदा ये हसी सदा रहे

Aap se ek baat kahni thi
Bura na maan jana kahi
Gajab ki hai aap ki hasi
Is kadar dil khol ke haste
maine kise ko dekha nahi
ya-Khuda ye hasi sada rahe

क्या कहे कैसे हुए उसकी हँसी पे हम फिदा
आँखे चमक उठती है और लाबो पे लाल रंग
गाल गुलाबी, खिल खिला उठता है चेहरा
उसकी हँसी की आवाज़ कर से बेकाबू हुए हम
मोहब्बत है उनसे या उनकी हँसी का नशा
न हँसे वह तो जीना जीना नही, लगे सज़ा

kya kahe kaise hue uski hansi pe hum fida
aankhe chamak uthti hai aur labo pe lal rang
gaal gulabi, khil khila uthta hai chehra
uski hansi ki awaz kar se bekabu hue hum
mohabbat hai unse ya unki hansi ka nasha
n hanse vah to jeena jeena nahi, lage saza
